The art museum offers various creative activities for children. In the children’s workshop, the young Picassos and enthusiastic crafters can help to add some bright and cheerful colours to the mural about Karel Appel.
Are your parents or grandparents taking a very long time in the museum? No worries! The children’s art studio is located in the attic of the art museum in Vledder. There, as a budding artist, you can show that you can do it too. All materials are laid out for you. There is a work of art in progress on the wall. Do your best and make it even more beautiful. Children can also make a coloring and craft sheet, often themed around the current exhibition. Afterwards, they receive a tasty surprise. In the children’s studio, there are also coloring sheets and various materials available to create your own artwork. At the cash register, there are some very fun ‘Vals ABC’ coloring and activity books ready for you. In these, you will find everything about fake things. So, plenty to do!
